Platform Loading
Diversification of existing platform infrastructure for both passenger and freight is both essential and economical. The Rail CargoLiner is able to work along side any platform infrastructure, achieving minimal platform dwell times by the rapid deployment of the loading platform.
ROLL-ON ROLL-OFF LOADING
Each Rail CargoLiner Modular unit is equipped with a dedicated hydraulic loading platform designed to streamline freight handling, particularly from conventional rail platforms. The platform pivots and lowers downward from within the W6A-compliant envelope, aligning precisely with the payload access door — which is purpose-sized for standard roll cages and wheeled cargo. When deployed alongside a rail platform, the system enables level roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) access. The platform can also incline upwards to form a ramp directly into the module itself, ensuring seamless cargo flow and maximising operational efficiency.
